The Reglazing Process
1.WE PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY
We begin the reglazing process by carefully protecting your home or business:
- Cover and protect surrounding areas with plastic protective material
- Additional tape and plastic is used to cover areas not be reglazed
- A ventilation system is set up to remove any paint odor to the outside
2.REPAIRS ARE MADE
We make all repairs:
- Chips, cracks, holes, scratches
- Additional repairs as necessary or requested
- (If decorative countertop molding was ordered it would be installed now)
3.PREPARE THE SURFACE
We carefully prepare the surface to ensure the best adhesion of the primer and topcoat:
- The surface is etched
- The surface is thoroughly cleaned
- The surface is primed
4.TOPCOAT
This is the final application of the Reglazing materials. The materials are applied using a professional spray gun.
Our technicians are thoroughly trained in proper application techniques, resulting in a surface that is durable and
free of drips or streaks.
